    Travel Declaration for March Holidays

MOH has issued an update on additional precautionary measures on 25 Feb 2020, advising Singapore residents to defer all travel to Hubei Province, and avoid non-essential travel to affected areas as announced in MOH travel advisories. As of 1 Mar 2020, affected areas include Mainland China (outside Hubei), Daegu and Cheongdo in South Korea. Please refer to MOH’s travel advisories for the updated list of affected areas.  Many countries have imposed travel restrictions against travellers from affected countries as precautionary measures.

As part of our efforts to ensure a healthy and safe school environment in light of the COVID-19 situation, we would require travel declarations for all students for the March holidays. This information will better help the school to plan and take the necessary precautions.

Please declare your child/ward’s travel plans over the March holidays, which will be easiest via the Parents Gateway app (refer to https://pg.moe.edu.sg). For parents who do not have access to Parents Gateway, a hardcopy has been given to your child. Only one parent is required to declare. If your child/ward is travelling, please indicate clearly both the country and city of travel. A declaration is also required if your child/ward is not travelling. Please submit the declaration to the Form Teacher by 9 March.

If there is a change of travel plans after you have declared, please inform the school directly by contacting the General Office at 6785 4329.

Please note that all Singapore residents returning from affected areas will be placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN). You may refer to the attached advisory for details.

Thank you for your partnership and support to keep our school safe.

Stepped-up Precautionary Measures Against 2019 Novel Coronavirus (nCoV)

    Dear Parents,

MOH has stepped up the risk assessment of 2019-nCoV from DORSCON Yellow to DORSCON Orange. MOE will introduce further measures on top of stepped up measures already in place since 5 Feb. This is to ensure that our schools remain a safe environment for our students and staff.
We will suspend all inter-school and external activities until end of March holidays. This is to reduce the risks of exposure from inter-mingling of students across schools and minimise exposure at crowds at external venues.
This would include the P1-6 Parent Engagement sessions, all Learning Journeys and P2/3 EL Theatre Experience.

Do note that the current arrival & dismissal procedures will carry on.

    Thank you.

    Dismissal Time for Friday

Dear parents, please note that dismissal time for Fridays:

    P1 & P2 at 12.45pm

    P3–6 at 12.55pm.

Students will be dismissed at the respective gates as per yesterday.

Enhanced school measures for novel coronavirus

    Dear parents,

As school re-opens on 29 Jan 2020, MOE will be enhancing precautionary measures in view of the novel coronavirus situation. These include daily temperature taking and Leave of Absence for students and staff with a travel history to China. More details click here for further information.

Let us all play our part in keeping good personal hygiene and taking social responsibility. There may be some inconveniences as preventive steps are taken, but together we can keep our children safe while minimising disruption to learning.
